Principal Investigator(s):
February 1, 2010 to May 1, 2012

Using the National Latino and Asian Americans Study (NLAAS) data, we have submitted abstracts to Association of Public Health Administration (APHA) for Annual APHA conference in Colorado, November 2010: 1. The effects of discrimination and acculturation to service seeking satisfaction for Latina and Asian American women: Implications for mental health professions. 2. Health disparities among Asian American Women: Findings from the National Latino and Asian American Study. Currently, we are working on manuscripts based on previously mentioned abstracts. Hyungmin Kim, a graduate student in the Social Work, conducted some literature search and review for the project (total time = 15 hours). He has left for his country after graduation. Dr. Ai has identified another doctoral student in the School of Social Work as a research assistant for this project.
