I want people to enhance their education of racial Equity. Some of my personal goals are to make anywhere I go a more equitable place. A Place that treats everyone with respect and shows and gives all the same treatment. That goes along with my professional goals because if i aim to create an atmosphere where everyone is treated equally and just that is the treatment that I will receive. My interest in race and equity stems from the fact that I’m hispanic and my culture and community isn't always treated with respect. I’ve also suffered from some of the consequences that systemic racism has caused many people that are part of ethnic minorities. I just want to bring a change so many people can feel that they are viewed as an equal. That they can go somewhere and not feel uneasy or unsure on how they will be treated. To me it is about creating a place wherever I go to make people feel safe, understood.
