Dr. Mohamed Hagahmed is an Emergency and EMS physician, educator, and medical director with experience in urban, rural, and international settings. He serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Associate Medical Director at the Center for Emergency Medicine, University of Pittsburgh. Board-certified in Emergency Medicine and a practicing EMS medical director, he is also the founder and host of EMERGE in EM, an educational platform and podcast focused on Emergency Medicine, Resuscitation, and Global Health Empowerment. Dr. Hagahmed is a frequent speaker at national EMS and resuscitation conferences and teaches prehospital critical care, pharmacology, and pathophysiology to paramedic students. His work bridges the gap between prehospital care and emergency department management, with a focus on improving outcomes through case-based education and early recognition of time-sensitive conditions.
