Ron Bogan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business process optimization, risk management, and compliance. Currently serving as VP, Manager of Operational Risk and Support Services at First National Bank, Ron leads a team dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency across the enterprise. His career spans over two decades, with significant roles at PNC Bank and Citizens Bank, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ron is deeply committed to community engagement. He writes a Substack newsletter on racial issues, has taught Adult Sunday School on the implications of slavery and the church, and leads a Men’s Ministry focused on fitness and real-world Biblical issues. Ron is also an avid reader of Black History, particularly its relationship to church history and its implications. He enjoys travel and the outdoors, spent a decade working with the homeless, and lived on the Navajo Reservation before returning to Pittsburgh.
