HOPE Aftercare seeks mentors

On behalf of HOPE Aftercare, CRSP invites faculty, staff, and students to consider becoming mentors to incarcerated or recently released individuals in the county jail and in local State Correctional Institutes (SCIs).

A successful mentor is someone who can focus on the needs of their mentee and develop a relationship of trust and respect by being supportive, encouraging, and positive. The objective of the HOPE Aftercare program is to reduce the chance of the mentee returning to jail by building a relationship of trust and understanding.
