I am a passionate leader with over 20 years of experience in K–12 and post-secondary education. My personal and professional work focuses on eliminating institutionalized inequities in our society based on race, gender, class, sexuality, language, and country of origin. As an educator, I employ culturally relevant and sustaining pedagogy and inclusive practices to create meaningful and affirming learning spaces for all students. As a community leader, I bring compassion, creative thinking, and a critical lens to identifying stakeholder-centered solutions that promote equity and access.
